wake me up before you go-go

wow, that song keeps looping in my head while disjointed bits of football game highlights and strange dreams of vampiric tea parties wind through my head in a crazy honey-slow crawl.

i'm tired. TIRED. and it doesn't seem like i should be. maybe it's the fall blues or something. it's the same "oh, i'm coming down with something, but it'll never develop into a full-blown flu." so i'm left with this immense tiredness that doesn't make much sense and the people around you wondering if you're just trying to be an ungrateful slacker in life. or maybe i'm projecting my thoughts again.

this past weekend was super-busy. i spent quite a bit of time with family, so that was good. the potluck was a success, thanks to miss laura and her mommy! i apologize for fading really badly in the end there. but i am on a mission now to clean up the post-potluckiness of our apartment. more family stuff, working out, running, spacing out and going to work. ugh. got to see paul and his parents, so that was nice. got to add my little note on a thanksgiving card to anthony. :)

i want to sleep until next week. guess i'll just go home and clean for awhile instead. and then go to work. oh dear.

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

No, my child. I love you. This you know. For the Bible tells you so. Monday you could fall apart. Tuesday, Wednesday, break my heart. Thursday doesn't even start...it's Friday I'm in love...
