wow, and the hilarity continues...
funny how i've managed to wander into one of those overambitious stories where there are too many characters and too many brief storylines to keep track of so that you view it with polite interest and not much else

...yeah, where to start? i guess, in brief, i met up with a set of my korean friends in a circumstance that was unintentional but ultimately serendipitous since i hadn't seen them in awhile...the next night i was supposed to meet with another group of people for a late-night food/drink session that i was looking forward to since there would be some new (to me) people to meet...but during the movie that afternoon that i was watching with my cousin (i don't see her nearly enough), i receive a message from somebody entirely unexpected and decided to change my plans so that i could chat a bit with him first and then continue on to the main meeting.

it was a really, really good talk. and it's been a long time since i had a really good chat with someone like that. anyways, we ended up talking much longer than either of us expected and when i called my other friends to see where they were, they were pretty drunk and such...so i just stayed put and chatted. all night.

so (searchingfortherightwordhereandnotfindingit) ...nice. yeah.

anyways, the following night i went to see a friend's band play and afterwards we went to eat. it was quite amusing due to the people there. most of them were guys from the various bands that had played that night. hard rock groups. sweet boys. i may go see them perform again on the weekends.

oh, i tutor a small group of medical students on saturdays now. which means i need to prepare for that, uh, now. and i am (again?) a part-timer at a cafe. just laugh and shake your head like i do.

i do think of you all in my spare moments and hope you're doing well...i got your email, lau-dawg, and i hope that this post can tide you over until i can give you a more detailed report in the near future...
